I caught this pair perched in the willow brush along the shore of Spring Lake in Alberta, taking in the sunset. On that particular day the sun was so overwhelming it demanded to be the whole story. I stripped everything else away and let it shine — a great blazing ball of light on raw, unfiltered beauty. Maybe a bit much? I don’t think so.
