Two Wee Birdies Sat On A Barrow!

My Scottish Grandpa had a wee poem he'd recite: “Two wee birdies sat on a barrow. One was a spug, the other a sparrow.” The joke being that in Scotland, “spug” is slang for sparrow. So much for Grandpa jokes — but I've never forgotten it.

The chirpy spug on this card is looking straight ahead and ready for action. I replicated the flowers from the cup to create a colourful, layered background.
